This weekend launched our 2015 REFIT® Instructor Training and Tour in Seattle and Portland.  By far two of our favorite destinations, we arrived super stoked about getting back to doing what we love the very most...meeting our Revolutionaries.

There really is nothing that can compare to the experiences we share during our trainings and live classes.  We're always greeted with eager smiles, squeals of excitement and lots of testimonies about how REFIT has impacted lives.  It. NEVER. Gets. Old.

One of the (many) cool things that happened during this trip was at our live class in Seattle. The host for the Seattle event (who is also a REFIT® instructor) had contacted me earlier in the week to ask how registration was going.  38 tickets had been sold at that point, and Jennifer shared that God had given her the number 50 for this event.  Sure enough, as our plane landed in Seattle, we received an email that 50 had indeed registered!  Oh, but wait....by the time we cranked up our playlist, we had around 80 beautiful faces staring at us!  That's just like Jesus to show off.

In Oregon, we had an equally rockin' time.  Our venue was the Sherwood YMCA, and we were super excited to partner with such a well-respected organization. We had almost equal number of instructor re-trainees as we did new trainees, and it took about 5 seconds to make both groups feel like reunited friends.  It's amazing how quickly our hearts can connect with people when we stand under the community+fitness umbrella together.  As we ended the day with our "pinky prayer" circle,  I noticed the diversity of the faces staring back at us.  Ranging in age from mid 20's to 60's, I was reminded how beautiful the body is when we break down walls that divide.  Age, race, income level, ability, beliefs....do they really matter when you're holding the hand of the person next to you?  I think not.

Folks, if there's ever been a time to get hyped up about the changing culture of fitness....it's now.  With each training class, we become more and more convinced that REFIT® is where it's at.  (Okay, just kidding.  Kind of.)  We are more and more convinced of the need to interlock the concepts of fitness + community in a way that changes people from the inside out.  We believe that a fitness experience rooted in community and cultivated through love and acceptance is the key to changing lives.  

And that's an important revolution.
