DIGITAL CONTENT AND BRAND MANAGER

Service and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee digital content strategy and track digital marketing activity 
  • Create digital campaigns and content to support operations and marketing needs
  • Implement production schedule for social media campaigns and digital media assets 
  • Ensure all major campaigns and initiatives have launched correctly across all digital platforms
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to create digital media strategies
  • Develop digital content assets from concept to execution 
  • Provide analytical support to measure the performance of promotional campaigns 
  • Optimize social media platforms by researching current trends, features, and updates.

Key Strengths and Skills:

  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • High levels of time management, particularly with remote work
  • Able to lead and own projects with minimal supervision
  • Initiative to seek out, receive, and implement feedback on created content, especially while learning the “REFIT voice”
  • Task and deadline-oriented

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years previous work experience in a similar or related field
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Canva experience
  • Google Analytics + Google products
  • Strong written and verbal skills (Copywriting experience preferred)
  • Graphic design experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 40 hours of work per week
  • Attendance at all necessary work/staff meetings 
  • Engagement with all REFIT-related communication platforms (Slack, Facebook, IG, YT, Hive, etc.)
  • Creation and maintenance of job “footprint” -- recording pertinent information that would help advise future personnel in this role

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR

The Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator will support REFIT’s Event Staff with focus on corporation giving and sponsorships for the National REFIT Instructor Convention, RECON.

The position will develop and nurture corporate relationships and work in conjunction with the RECON Project Management Team to create the best strategy for each company based on available sponsorship opportunities and the corporate partner’s primary audience.

Key Responsibilities

This is an important and fast-paced opportunity to build a portfolio of REFIT sponsors. This smart, high energy and strategic team member will raise funds to help achieve goals that will support all efforts of the event. This person will:

  • Identify new potential corporate partners and develop comprehensive strategies based on research and evaluation.
  • Work collaboratively with the RECON Project Management Team to create and implement sponsorship objectives including the corporate partnership plan and management, execution, and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements and related elements
  • In collaboration with the RECON Project Management Team, develop and implement the corporate sponsorship strategy
  • Develop a pipeline of new prospects through outbound solicitations; field, assess, and evaluate incoming calls; cultivate and develop relationships, and secure corporate partners in support of REFIT’s mission.
  • Manage pre-meeting activity, including pitch, presentations, and proposals.
  • Execute post-contract activities for new sponsorships including: negotiating donation and benefits, execution of sponsor agreements, and maintaining communication with corporate partners
  • Provide weekly status reports of sponsorship activities and commitments
  • Maintain a solid understanding of REFIT, its programs, and initiatives

Desired Skills / Experience

  • Sponsorship prospect research experience
  • Ability to build rapport with donors
  • Strong negotiation and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive and work effectively as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment, in addition to remaining self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, problem-solve, and organize documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient using Google Workspace

This position reports directly to the RECON Project Manager.

The Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator is a seasonal, volunteer position.

INTERIM COPYWRITER

The mission of REFIT® is simple:  we desire to create a fitness experience where everybody belongs. 

The REFIT Interim Copywriter Position is responsible for producing engaging, clear text for different advertising channels such as emails, social media, and blog posts.  Their duties include researching keywords, producing interesting written content, and proofreading their work for accuracy and quality.

We are seeking someone who:

  • is passionate about the REFIT mission, values, and vision
  • is able to write clear and error-free content which reflects REFIT’s voice
  • is able to accept and implement feedback 
  • is self-motivated and approaches work with a high level of discipline, detail, and accuracy
  • is a team player who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Writing a variety of content to support communications and marketing efforts
  • Planning, creating, and maintaining email communications to all audiences
  • Working with the REFIT marketing team to edit and modify copy to meet expectations
  • Maintaining integrity and organization of email lists and groups
  • Editing and proofreading copy as needed

KEY SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience in a communications or marketing role
  • Canva, Mailchimp, and/or other communication software proficiency
  • Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is an interim part-time position with an expectation of approximately 20 hours/week.  Local residence is not required, and remote applicants are encouraged.
