Why Join Us?

We over me

Our roles are interconnected and we work them that way — proactive communication, no silos, no scorekeeping. Team players only.

Real ownership

Small team, short path from idea to done. You won't wait on four approvals to try something — you'll pitch it Monday and build it by Friday.

Meaningful work

Nothing here is busywork. Whatever your role at REFIT, it ends up affecting real people, with real stories, and real lives — and you get joy of watching the ripple effect of your work.

Courage, and growth

We're a high-touch culture that gives and receives honest feedback. We are committed to growing and learning first — and nobody does it alone.

Our mission is to create a fitness experience where everybody belongs.

A note from the founders

We hire the way we teach

We exist to create spaces of empowerment, transformation, and belonging — and that starts inside our own team. We're high-touch and high-standard, we save each other a seat at the table, and we say the true thing even when it's the harder thing.

So we don't hire résumés. We look for character, competency, and chemistry — truth tellers who take responsibility, who are excellent at their craft, and who bring out the best in the people around them. It takes courage to work this way. Without it, there's no revolution.

In your corner,
Angela, Catherine, and Emily

Events Coordinator

Overview
Commitment Level: Part Time, 15 to 25 hours per week
Office: In-Person or Remote
Compensation: $20/hour
Reports to: Catherine Ballas and Angela Beeler
Start Date: September 15, 2026

REFIT® Revolution is hiring an Events Coordinator to secure and run the logistics behind everything on our event calendar, including REFIT and REV+FLOW Instructor Training weekends, REFIT On Tour stops, Move Well Weekends, speaking engagements, and our international retreat. This role owns the coordination arc of an event from first outreach to a host or venue through wrap-up, plus the communication that keeps trainers, hosts, and participants on the same page.

This is primarily a coordination role, with light sales work built in. Acquiring venues and hosts means proactively reaching out and securing venues as well as managing relationships that already exist.

Light marketing support is also part of it, but this is not a marketing-strategy seat.

What You'll Own

Securing and Coordinating Events
Identify, reach out to, and secure host locations, venues, and dates for REFIT and REV+FLOW Instructor Training weekends (including the fall training season, such as Utah and Indiana), REFIT On Tour stops, and Move Well Weekends
Support RECON planning and on-the-ground coordination as REFIT returns to RECON in 2027
Support logistics coordination for the 2027 international retreat in Italy (final decisions on venue, pricing, and reservations stay with Catherine and Angela Beeler; this role handles the coordination work underneath those decisions)
Coordinate logistics for repeat and new speaking engagements, once the engagement itself is secured by Catherine or Angela
Serve as the primary point of contact with hosts, venues, and vendors from initial outreach through the event itself
Event Logistics and Communication
Manage all event logistics from initial inquiry through completion: scheduling, vendor coordination, on-site logistics, and trainer and staff travel
Own event-related communications: confirmations, scheduling updates, reminders, and post-event follow-up
Launch each Instructor Training weekend publicly listed and open for registration, and own trainee-facing communication from registration through post-training next steps
Maintain accurate event records, including attendance, registrations, certifications, and per-event budgets or expenses
Process registration changes, including transfers, refunds, and updates
Light Marketing Support
Promote events using existing brand materials and templates, not building marketing strategy from scratch
Coordinate timing and event-specific pushes with the marketing contractor
Post and manage updates in event-related social or community channels

Logistics

Part-time, 15 to 25 hours per week, with more hours during event weeks
Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends around event timing
Open to in-person (Waco area) or remote; local residence not required
Start date: September 15, 2026

Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong time management and prioritization across more than one event at a time
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, Excel in particular, for rosters and budgets
Comfortable with Facebook and Instagram for event-related content
Able to work independently, whether in person or remote
Previous REFIT experience is a plus, not required
Personal Qualities
