By Angela Beeler

Get ready to be pricked just a little bit...this Love Rules is a tad bit "ouchie."  Today we're asking you to TURN OFF THE ME SHOW in pursuit of something better and bigger than YOU.

When we purpose to walk through life others-focused, our whole perspective will change.  Watch this video and decide if you're running a "ME Show" or a "WE Show."  Don't forget to check out the discussion questions below and let's chat about this topic!

Wow! Great video. Important for all humans to reflect on their values & priorities, grow, and strive to become more community oriented. A recent quote that impacted me on the internet when searching for healing quotes was: When i is replaced by we, even illness becomes wellness.

I've never looked at it like that. Thank you for pointing that out!

You all demonstrated a bit of the "we" mentality at your instructor training where you filmed "I'm Alive." Walking out of the camera shot at the end of the song and letting the new revolutionaries "take the spotlight" was a very "we" moment! I liked it!!!!

Ouch, ouch, and ouch again!! Thank you so much for this series. I am learning, honestly how it's ok to just be me. And I will confess, I tend to run a "me show". I think it grew a little out my growing up being the youngest of 11 and being good at my 3 R's, my parents came to expect 'top performance' from me. Got my first F in middle school and my folks thought the world was coming to an end. So, yes, I fell into a lot- of the "me" categories. I am a work yet in progress. I attended a "me show" for about a year...the last 4 months, I came home in tears every time, but my sense of loyalty to that class/group/leader is the only thing that kept me there. (different #loverule) Becoming we-centered to me is becoming all inclusive. Overlooking the little things that would cause someone to feel excluded. Focus on what and who are in my life NOW, and being grateful. In my opinion, if you are running an effective "we" show, there's no need for a "me" show. Thank you again for the accountability.
