We're seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented Training and Events Manager to expand REFIT's instructor training and REFIT On Tour impact through strategic host location partnerships and exceptional event execution. This role combines host venue acquisition, event coordination, and program growth while ensuring seamless experiences across both in-person and online platforms.
Primary Objectives:
• Expand REFIT's footprint through strategic event location partnerships
• Drive training attendance through targeted outreach and engagement
• Foster strong relationships with hosts and volunteer teams
• Ensure seamless execution of all training and REFIT On Tour events and participant experiences
Key Responsibilities:
Program Growth & Host Development (40%)
• Identify and secure new host locations in target markets
• Build and nurture relationships with host venues and volunteer teams
• Develop strategies to increase training + event attendance
• Manage promotions for upcoming events
• Track event attendance and location performance metrics
• Meet quarterly attendance targets for training programs
Event Operations & Logistics (35%)
• Manage end-to-end coordination of training events
• Coordinate trainer travel arrangements and host location setup
• Process registrations, transfers, and participant communications
• Support host venues with event preparation and volunteer coordination
• Facilitate event host training sessions
• Maintain detailed event documentation and attendance records
• Manage event-specific communication groups (Flare)
Community Engagement & Experience (25%)
• Cultivate relationships with potential host locations
• Create engagement strategies to boost event attendance
• Provide exceptional support to hosts, volunteers, and participants
• Manage the REFIT REP program & REFIT Rewards
• Manage pre and post-event communications
• Track participant feedback and implement improvements
Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience in event management, program coordination, or related field
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Exceptional organizational task shifting abilities, and excels in prioritization
• Excellence in written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Klayvio, Hive (or willingness to learn)
• Experience with social media platforms and community management
• Strong data tracking and reporting skills
